Rather you make the things in the theme functionable, at the moment the theme is broken and the option to remove the search bar is not functioning. Please can you update the theme and send a new copy with the function fixed.

I have removed the search function html in the content-header.php file since you have no way of removing it properly for the moment, but of cource the menu is not extneding the full lenght of the menubar. Am i correct in thinking that removing the search box wouldn’t let the menu take the space vacated by the search menu?
could you just tell me how to remove the search bar from menu instead?
The documention link you provided, has instructions to use a switch in the settings, but that switch doesn’t work.
I’ve had to remove it in the theme, and adjust the menu bar so the links do not occupy two rows to avoid wrapping around a now removed search bar.
